Genomics

The genomics core facility at Sunnybrook Research Institute (SRI) is a centralized resource equipped with a range of modern instruments that provide high-quality service. We deliver cost-effective access to advanced RNA/DNA technologies and provide expertise and equipment for all phases of service.

We are continually updating and expanding our services to keep up with advances in technology and its applications. Our facility is open to the SRI community as well as investigators from external institutions. We offer the following services:

• Gene expression profiling by microarray technology
• Microarray data analysis
• Tumour tissue microarray technology
• Real-time Q-PCR system
• Laser capture microdissection (LCM) technology

We also provide opportunities for SRI research fellows and students to gain experience and training. We encourage collaborative opportunities with investigators on research projects and support investigators' grant applications.
