As an integral part of Sunnybrook's Holland Musculoskeletal Program, we are a major contributor to the trauma program and oncology program.
All spine activity takes place at the Sunnybrook campus. We collaborate with the divisions of Neurosurgery, Anaesthesia and Rehabilitation.
Each of the attending spine surgeons have appointments at the University of Toronto and are involved in teaching medical students, residents and fellows.
Any interaction you may have with the spine program involve our team which is comprised of students, nurses, research assistants and your surgeon. Spine fellows have completed their specialty training in orthopaedics or neurosurgery and are obtaining further sub-specialized experience in spinal disorders.
We have two spine fellows at any time who will be practicing in Canada or abroad upon completion of their fellowship.
